To make Mindings simpler for people who are “technology-shy”, we’ve produced a series of iPad “wallpapers” that you can simply add to your iPad.
You can see and download the wallpapers below, by clicking on the image. The image will enlarge and you can right-click (or ctrl-click) and save the image, then follow the rest of the instructions.
To do this:
- Email one of the wallpapers to yourself and pick it up in the iPad – or navigate to this page on Safari (www.mindings.com/ipad)
- Pressing on the image, click “Save image”, which will save it to your “Saved Photos” folder in the iPad “Photo” App.
- Run the iPad “Settings” application, select “Brightness & Wallpaper” then tap the Wallpaper display. Choose the Mindings Wallpaper from “Photo Library” and then select “Set Home Screen”.
- Move all of the screen icons, bar the Mindings icon, to another desktop and empty the dock (the row of icons at the bottom of the iPad screen).
When the iPad is switched on, the user just needs to tap on the icon the on-screen arrow is pointing to, plus it helps the user orientate the iPad to landscape mode.
