• Mindings: Connecting the Disconnected!

    Mindings: Connecting the Disconnected!

More than ever, families are separated by distance, continents even. This often causes sadness for elder parents, and guilt for offspring who have “flown the nest”—particularly if there are young children involved who grandparents aren’t seeing often enough; if the family member lives alone; or if they are in poor health.

We regularly keep in touch with our friends with text messages, email, tweets, picture messages… If only we could keep in touch with our less tech-savvy family so simply.

Mindings enables you to send personal, captioned photos, text messages, calendar reminders and much more to a digital photo frame: instantly from your mobile phone.

Mindings connects families by enabling effortless, regular, personal, and meaningful contact.

    Mindings in the Press

Mindings has recently been well received by the press.

“The Next Web was at the PowerOfOne conference in early November…it was Stuart Arnott‘s pitch that really caught our attention.
It really is a great concept, one that really resonates with me, and no doubt with millions of other people around the world.
Mindings connects families in new ways, and could transform telecare”

    The Next  Web (Paul Sawers)

“Elderly relatives not on Facebook? There’s Mindings for that…”

  • Announcing ‘webMindings’!

    Announcing ‘webMindings’!

    1.  Use that computer Mum and Dad never switch on.

Or, one of the several you probably have kicking around your house.

    2.  Connect it to the internet.

Phone up BT or whoever and get them some broadband – you’ll visit more often!  Alternatively, ask their neighbour if you can leech some of their broadband  - 50% of UK homes have it… A MiFi dongle will do also do the trick.

    3.  Get our webMindings App.

We’ll be offering a FREE trial for WebMindings Beta testers. By recycling an old PC and using WebMindings, you can benefit from Mindings NOW!

We’ll be looking for Beta testers in early 2012. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for details!
